| In Perry Central's 14-0 shutout win over district foe Clay Co., soph. LB's Matthew Robinson and Devin Turner led the defense with 13 and 12 tackles respectively. Soph. DL Jared Deaton chipped in with 6 tackles(3 TFL) and 1 QB sack to help the defense limit Clay Co. to 229 total yds. Sr. QB Jordan Amis led the offense with 90 yds and 1 td. on 9 carries in the first half before being injured and Fr.QB Austin Pray stepped in to direct the offense and lead the team to a win. |
